Thursday Tales...
So skipping right over the most of the day. Cleaned a little, cried a little, napped a little, ect. Had a little visit with Kiki, who was just joyed to go back to work today. Talked of movies, chocolate, Friends, and life. Was nice.
Squidward and I ordered a couple of pizzas for din din and then it was off to the laundry. There was this completely freaky guy there!!! He was a piece of work, not the brightest color crayon in the box. I was a little frightened by him at first, but that quickly changed into annoyance.
From there we went to visit Squidy's dad. Such a nice man.
Then it was back to my place for the most uncomfortable game of Monoply in history.
A little bit of cleaning here and there, and then bed around 3.

What About Wednesday...
So Wednesday. Not really fun. But has it been so far? I spent a large portion of the day snowed in. Cellphone service was out almost all day (I was so antsy during this period).
I ventured out of the house to go to Wal-mart and do a little shopping. A little shopping turned into a lot of shopping (it's Wal-mart, I think it's in the air). I did emerge with Season 10 of Friends (which I have already watched most of) and a new pair of pink boots (they are kind of moon bootish) along with other assorted gunk.
My evening consisted of trying to force feed Meow Mixxx (hadn't eaten in 3 days), and I was not successful.
Squidward and I armed oursleves with paint brushes and attacked my pantry. My pantry was not finished, so we took care of that. A fresh coat of paint later, it looks like I live here. The walls are green and the cupboards are purple.
My phone lately can't seem to stop ringing and last night this was the case. That and my door was pretty busy. I am ok with this actually. Love that people feel they can come here. At any rate, my night ended some where around 6 a.m.

Tuesday Troubles...
We, or course chose to do this on the day of the first major snow storm of the year. It's a 60 mile drive. It generally takes me just over an hour to get there, last night it took about an hour and 45 minutes to get home. I couldn't see the lines on the freeway, I spun out a few times on the local highway. It was great fun.
This is the aftermath.

Mundane Monday...
After sleeping in, Squidward and I headed north to the Island City to visit our coffee maker friend.
We had a nice relaxing evening watching Eddie Izzard, and Dawn of the Dead. She made awesome tacos with this chocolate sauce. It has a name....but I just like to call it the chocolate taco sauce.
Vacation Day 2 ended late and rough. I will not disclose any details. But I love everyone involved and hope all is well.
And to the girl on the couch...sleeping like that will give you a crick in the neck.
Maximum bed capacity...2....singlely (yes, that's a word, now shush) occupied twice.

Taking Action...
Thank you for you attention to this matter.
**Edited** Sunday Slackings...
Vacation day 2 gone like, well, yesterday.
Had my weekly breakfast with the lovely Miss Kitty. Spent the day cleaning up and watching Roswell. Had dinner with Squidward. Cleaned some more. Downloaded a poo load of songs. Made a ton of CD's. Loaded Kiki up with new tunes. Made MrsGiggles a new one, but am making her wait to get it.
After picking Squidward up, we came to the conclusion we were hungry, very hungry. So off to the grocery store. We ended up with a whole chicken of all things. A stuffing stuffed whole chicken.
**At this point I must mention the cashier with the totally bitchin' bangs. This were "1987, crammed in the backseat of a Pacer to go see her first Whitesnake concert" bangs. Several cans of White Rain (remember White Rain, prom hair that wouldn't move for weeks, holes in the ozone...) went into creating this look. I bet she has stone-washed white jeans in her closet. I would wager she still wears them.**
Anyway, the chicken. Did you know this things take 2 hours!!!!! Not the best thing when you are starving!
So one bottle of Red Raspberry wine and several smirnoff's later, the chicken was done. Looked so good, we didn't bother cutting it. So picture Squidward, Mack, Annie, and I sitting around the coffee table picking a chicken carcass clean.
Maximum Bed Count...3 total. But not at the same time. I had different bed buddies in the morning then I did in the evening.

Saturday Shenanigans...
I can't believe I slept til noon. I told you about the 1st half, and I am not going to repeat it.
The afternoon went well. I got a fantastic phone call about 4 pm. MrsGiggles called and wanted to know if we could go to dinner. This quite possibly made my vacation. I, of course said yes. After sharing his supper hour, I returned Squidward back to work and headed home to get ready. I had a tight schedule to keep.
Dinner with theGiggles was exactly what I needed. I laughed until my sides hurt and everything in between. MrGiggles made it his mission to try and send something out my nose. The food was good, but it was more about the location then anything else. We went to this place where we all used to go for fish forever ago. It's a piece of our history. It's perfect.
After getting home, we hurriedly cleaned up after Poopuppy (a terrier with alone issues, so he has potty problems), and I was off to my next stop.
A surprise 50th birthday party for Digi's boss at the bar Kiki works at (like I am going to miss that...I don't seem to have to pay for drinks there....shhhhh!). It sadly was just a stop. I had enough time to tell my poo-puppy story, say hi to the birthday boy, slam my free beer, say bye to the birthday boy and head back to town to make sure Squidward didn't have to walk home in the ick weather we have been having.
When I hit my pillow at 2, I didn't remember turning out the light, I was beat. I had so much fun thou.
Thanks MrsGiggles. I needed that.
Maximum Bed Capacity...one.

Another Friday Night...
DEAR LORD! WAL-MART ON A SATURDAY???? WHAT WAS I THINKING???
$65 later, I was back at home. Saturday mornings are always a tad bittersweet. Friday nights are so fun (mostly), and I always seem to forget about the disaster that follows the day after the 'party'. I had soda cans (I know, we are crazy) and chocolate wrappers from one end of the house to the other. Oh well, it's worth it.
I feel creative today. I need to do something to let that out.
I have dishes to do, so I should take off. Tonight I have a surprise party (shhhh to attend), kinda looking forward to that!
Keep your eyes open for the daily vacation recap.

The Time Is Upon Us....
In 4 fantastic minutes my vacation starts.
Some plans in the works, nothing much, little nits here and there....updates along the way.
Another Goddess Point...
I rock, I will now welcome your worship.
Digit warning....
Labbie....I jumped her topless.....lol...ok not really, but I'll let you have that...
Shake It Off...
...
Yea, I hit the neighbor's dog this morning. Knocked my license plate off even. Granted it's not screwed in, but still. I saw them run off, pulled over. Get out of the car. I had the stereo on, so I couldn't actually hear the dog yip....but everyone else in the neighborhood did. So I attracted a small crowd.
I was trying to explain to the owner what happened. And all I got was "He's fine." The girl who went to get him after at happened looked at him and said...
"That's what you get for not tying up your dogs and walked away." How crazy is that?!?
Honestly, I am pretty upset about the whole thing, but I didn't do anything wrong and there was nothing I could do...but still...

Movie Mumblings...
TM: I love Christian Bale. I would be lying if I tried to claim anything else was the driving force behind seeing this movie (Heelloo Batman). OMG, eww. He is so sick and gross in this movie that you can see actual bones trying to poke through his skin. Gross. Other then that, it was a good movie. I had a little of a Fight Club vibe going on, but cool none the less.
SOTL: How have I never seen this? It was an ok movie. Although, I think I expected better. It was good, but not own it good.
TheRedCup.Com...
Today I came across, "What Holiday Cookie Are You?" After a short quiz, this is what I learned.

To Eat Or Not To Eat...
They are taking us to this place that used to have great food....now it just sucks.
I am not really looking forward to it...however even if it's no good...it's still a meal I didn't have to prepare.

One Step Closer To Goddess...
So today, I am bopping along in the Jeep. Fresh from dropping Squidward at work, car dancing to Britney (don't tell anyone), and thinking about cookie reciepes and I get a crying phone call from my roommate.
She's at the Y picking up a client for work. She gets out of the car...flat tire. So she calls me. Me. Need your nails done, hair dyed, help with a chicken reciepe...you call me.
Well, I changed the damn tire. It's not so hard. In fact, I am pretty damn pleased with myself right now.
Well, not much to say, cookies to bake, dinner to make, a house to clean, check book to balance....lots to do on my day off.
All Saints Day...
I got out of work at 4.30 yesterday and was put straight to work. Squidward was a demon for halloween and there was body paint to be applied before heading to the party. Flash forward 4 hours later...DAMN!! It took F-O-R-E-V-E-R. But it was worth it. He looked seriously cool.
The party itself was kind of a bust and we stayed just over an hour. But since Squidward was covered in body paint and couldn't sit..or touch anything...(in hindsight, that might have contributed to us leaving early) it was a little akward for him. Had they given our prizes thou, he would have won!
The night ended with a little Shaun of the Dead at his place. Where I am pretty sure I blacked out from exhaustion around midnight for a little bit, but just over an hour of sleep for one day will do that.
Thankfully, I have to day off and was able to sleep in. After stumbling to bed around 1, I slept until...7.30...
6 hours of sleep in 2 days....why do I feel so good?

Easy Like Sunday Morning...
Kiki and I dressed up as prom queens today. We look smashing!! But I cannot wait to switch in my comfy cat costume for the party Squidward and I are attending later today.
Thank god I have tomorrow off, I feel burnout coming on!! This hour of sleep thing is killing me.
Saturday Shenanigans...
Squidward and I headed to the next city over in search of the finishing touches for our halloween costumes. We got him fangs, and a whip but were not able to find body paint. I got a tiara.
We scurried back home, not all the quickly I might add to attend a masquerade. I was a little hesistant at first I must admit, but I had a nice time. Lately, I have been a myspace whore thanks to Squidward, and EVERYONE there was on myspace. So it was cool to match up faces to names and to meet some more of Squidward's friends.
After watching Bubba Ho-Tep (so not my choice) we were off to meet Betty. Betty was at a house party with the remainder of Squidward's friends. WOW!! I do not miss those days. We stayed there for a little bit. I did see a familiar face or 3 there, so I wasn't completely out of the loop.
Back in the day, mi madre used to pick up a classmate of mine and her little brother and take them to school every day. In my mind, the little brother stayed the curly haired fro kid. Well, tonight I saw him fall over a couch drunk. Not so little anymore. But funny as hell, as he was hanging on me, breathing his alcohol fire breath. I can't hide how entertained I was.
The evening ended with Squidward and I watching Candyman on the couch of a pizza and a few drinks.
Sunday re-cap to follow.

Another Friday Night...
My house just seems to be a gathering place on Friday nights. And that's cool. Most of the time I am here alone, so it can be a welcome change. It started as just Meow Mixxx and I chilling out on Fridays. Then people started to show up. So now on Fridays, the tunes are bumping, the beer is cold, and the house is full.
This Friday was no different. In starring roles this week were Squidward, Mack, Meow, Digi, Annie, Myself, and introducing Betty and Don.
It was Mack birthday friday night, so his BF Don came over with him. Don was a wee bit drunk. And annoying. But who hasn't been the annoying drunk in the room once in their life. Don's visit was short lived. His keys were confiscated and I walked him to a girls house (bow chica wow wow). He stayed long enough to kill the night.
Mostly everyone ended up reading magazines and making silly small talk about zombie movies (go figure).
The night wrapped itself up unexpectedly and rapidly.
I don't really know how to entertain in a situation like that. I don't have a gaming system of any kind for people to huddle over, no cable. Just a few DVD's my computer and beer. Generally only works for a short time.
Maybe I just need more practice. So who is coming next week?

Pheobe Watch...
My gerbil Pheobe, who I adopted in May, yeah, she's dying. I didn't expect her to make it thru the night honestly. She's convulsing. Cold to the touch. Not really moving and her breathing is terrible shallow and sporadic.
I covered her up last night to try and warm her up, but I don't know if there's anything I can do. She's a gerbil.

It's Thursday...
Wanna play carnival? You sit on my face and I guess how much you weigh.
The Dynasty Dilemma...
Graham took me out to drop it off on my lunch. When asked if I would have it back for the weekend. I got laughed at.

The Dynasty Dilemma...
I picked up my car last Thursday and Dr. Jason said it might need to come back in. He hoped the issue resolved itself.
Well, it is less of an issue. The issue being, the car jerks into gear. It hesitates accelerating going up a hill. Not bad, but enough to annoy me. Well, I made the appointment for Tuesday, my day off, to take it in and have it looked at.
I think I noticed a small (teeny tiny actually) puddle under her today. But I don't know. I tried to check the tranny fluid (lmao, like I know where that is.) and couldn't.
I dunno what to do. Seems to be running ok. Maybe I will have my oh-so-wonderful-loyal-loving and expert salad tossing brother point me in the right direction. (loves you). I really don't want to take it in any sooner then I planned, I really don't want to be without it over the weekend.

Movie Mumblings...
Sunday was movie day for Squidward and I. Movies, pizza, and a bottle of Hypnotic. Life is good. We watched Dead Meat, The Amityville Horror (2005 remake), and Trainspotting.
DM - Ok, an Irish zombie movie about rabid cows infected with a mutated strain of Mad Cow. You draw your own conclusions.
TAH - OMG!! I never saw the orginal, but this rocked! And Ryan Reynolds...may the gods help me. He has grown up since his TV sitcom days.
TS - Coolest movie ever. Might be my new favorite. SEE THIS NOW!

Sunday Slacking...
Headed to the Fluff and Fold for laundry. No one was there...so it wasn't even fun.
Came home. You guessed it. Nap. From which I was startled awake from Squidward. Picked him up and headed to DQ from greasy post bar food.
When we got there, we saw all of his friends from the night before there. Most still appeared to be wearing the same clothes. They don't really talk to me much, because I am the new girl. And honestly I am ok with that. But I did take great pleasure in telling the boy who took her home, that she had been married and divorced/annulled twice in 2 years.
Squidward and I then headed to various stop to pick up all the supplies needed for a perfect Sunday. Movies, alcohol, and pizza. And then we sat on the couch for like 5 hours. I watched him work on a necklace for his friend and was in awe. The man has talent.
I watched a ton of movies....so brace yourself for the movie post....tomorrow.
Saturday Shenanigans....
I worked on Saturday which was mostly uneventful. Graham and Kiki made it worth showing up (better late then never). Squidward called and asked if I wanted to meet him for his dinner break. So we had a plesant meal at Country Kitchen. (Service sooo bad) And made plans to meet up with his friends for a couple drinks later.
I won't go into the details because I don't feel like making code names. But highlights included one of Squidward's friends ultimately hooking up with my favorite bar hootchie. This girl is fun to watch, but as I watch her trying and fill the voids in her life, a sad feeling washes over me.
Additional points of note, someone in Squidward's party that I had not been introduced to
bought me 2 mixers and 2 shots. (Well, he bought for everyone too.)
A friend of Squidward's (see a trend here, I was way out numbered) as she was apologizing for spilling her beer all down the front of another bar patron, accidently dumped her beer all over my flip flop wearing feet. I did not say anything to anyone other then Squidward, because she was trying so hard to correct the first spill.
A girl from the local video store walked up to Squidward (who may have been drunk by this point) and I and stuffed 2 shots in our hands and walked away.
Other stuff happened.......oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I can't believe I almost forgot.
So when we get to our favorite watering hole (best people watching in town...should be their slogan), there was a very large man shaking his groove thing solo for the whole bar to see. He was a dancing machine. And big props to man for having a good time. And giving Squidward and I something to giggle about alot.
So that's it in a nutshell. Woke up alone, fully clothed and not bloody, so it wasn't great...but fun.
My First Time...
This is to landmark my 1st drunk post actually.
Nothing to say. I am going to finish my beer and go to sleep.

We Can't Have That Now...
MrsGiggles went out for a few ... kegs last night. And ended the night by chistening her front lawn. (I take all the fun out of things for other bloggers lately).
Not that it's a competition, but I bet I can drink more then she can!
I am going to travel out into the night with Squidward and his friends. This is a 1st for me. Would be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous.
Should be plenty to report, as there always is.
Remembering Buttons...
Interesting...
She's not even to the city limits and a guy is on the way. It just worked out that way.
He's cute, and too young for me. But still, didn't stop me from showering quick and trying to clean a bit.
Birthday Boodle...
In a shocking appearance, Neckred appeared on Tuesday night, bearing gift none the less. And he didn't even ask me to buy him beer.

I am surprised he even knew this movie exsisted. It's fluffy, girl and I love it.
So Thursday I went to dinner at my Mom's. I don't like her right now. But lets not get into that. It was my birthday dinner. She made steak and baked potatoes. And she got me 2 cakes!!! One to take home (red velvet) and a cheesecake to have with the fam. I could go into the details of the evening, but I haven't the energy. I think she felt guilty for the entire week in general. This is what she got me.
Cinderella (I'm a Disney whore), Clueless (like omg, duh!) and a set of 3 new frying pans (because I mentioned that mine didn't heat evenly). And 2 pairs of slippers....pink fuzzy ones and purple ones with hearts (I love slippers).
and then it gets wierd.

That's right boys and girls. Manwich, hotdogs, diet soda (but I can win a million dollars), and a Hello Kitty juice bottle (which I love btw). Oh...and taffy apples. But I ate those. I told you she felt guilty. MANWICH???
Digi showed up last night with boodle in hand as well.

Who doesn't love Sin City? And he has no idea how thoughtful I thought the book really was.
I am so damn loved (and spoiled) that it's hard to take sometimes. I love you all for the really thoughtful gifts this year. I loved them all.
Didja Miss Me?

None For You...
I just found out that my dog is being put to sleep on Thursday and I am not much in the mood. Probably won't hear a whole lot out of me as far as Thursday goes.
How Disappointing...
Imagine my shock when I see Dessa, on the lift with Dr. Jason under her. At 10 p.m.! Let me say this now, I have the coolest mechanic in the world. Would your guy be working on your car at 10 p.m.?
So I called him all excited this morning thinking that it of course, should be done. He tells me, not quite but soon.
I eagerly await the call. Finally, it came. My heart skipped a beat like you'd have thought that Christian Bale was calling me. But turns out, that feeling was short lived.
The new tranny is faulty. It's sticking in 2nd. There is a call in on it, but no word yet as to when I might be with car again.

Birthday Boodle...

The milk frother of my dreams, a cheesy horror flick, and a purse.

Here is Kiki modeling a modified party hat, in a not very flattering pose, I might add. Squidward and I looked H-O-T in these hats.

The girls at work heard I had never gotten flowers before, so 25 roses. Now, if I could just get flowers from a boy...

They also heard I wanted the Hello Kitty Everywhere book. Not pictured are the 2 passes to the local cinema they got me and the Spongebob toy!
The Big Bad Ass Book of Shots came thanks to MrsGiggles. Kiki and I busted that bitch open last night. Blue Lemon Drop...not good. So thanks to MrsGiggles and THE book, Kiki and I will be testing a shot a week and sharing our humble opinions with you all.
The Jamie Cullum CD came thanks to Ray-Ray. I picked this CD up like 4 times in the last week and always talked myself out of it. I love him! And a super cheesy cheeseburger for lunch today.
Squidward took me out for chinese and I enjoyed Buddist Delight Vegetables. NUM!
And debuting Beep (she owns a BP station here in town, think I am being all clever.), she is taking (or making, I wasn't really listening) me to dinner tonight.
Digit and family took me for pizza Friday night, (which I am pretty sure I never thanked them for...so thanks and loves guys!) and he and the Girlfriend took me out for a night of drinking which could only be described as surreal. It is the first time I have been out drinking and requested to be dropped off at a guy's apartment as far opposed to going home. (insert raised eyebrows here). I was deposited at Squidward's pad.
Ooooh....and let's not forget Grade School Teacher....she sent me a quarter. As if I needed reminding that I am a quarter of a century old. Ug.
So spoiled! And truly blessed. I feel really loved.
Happy Anniversary...
Today they celebrate 2 years of wedded bliss. Never in my life have I met two people so perfect for each other. I was lucky enough to be part in their special day and I am still thankful to have them be such an important part of my life. (See how I made that about me, teehee I am so bad. But it is my blog after all.)
I hope for them that a lifetime of continued live and happiness awaits them. I hope for me, I find somewho compliments me as well as the do each other.
Scoot over her way and show some love!

Not Much To Say...
Literally too. The sun was fantastic today. It made my skin tingle, as it soaked into my skin. It may have been one of the last really nice days, and I am so glad it happened. It was just what I needed.
I drove around (in Annie's car, because mine is still sick) with Saltine's son Pookie, kicked with Kiki for hours (I so needed that), and Squidward just got here.
I got some presents today. So that helped too. I'll post some pictures tomorrow so I can brag about all my birthday boodle (again a Juicy word, a dictionary is available upon request). I am soo spoiled.
It's a good thing I have tomorrow off, because seeing as how Squidward just walked in the door. I find it highly unlikely that we are going straight to bed.
Until tomorrow my friends.
Lots of love

A Big Day...
Let's all gather around for story time, and I'll tell you why.
A few years ago, I made a string of bad choices involving my credit. I have been paying my dues and struggling for quite awhile now to fix my sins. I paid off all my collections, closed those credit cards, and such. I have had one lingering issue out there. I had a charge off on an in-store credit account. And for those of you who don't know, a charge-off sends you to credit hell for a very long time.
Well, turns out that having my transmission go out was a small blessing. The competing financial institution that financed my loan tacked on the amount of the charge-off so I could clear that up. Don't even get me started on the fact that the bank I work for, won't finance for employees.
So today, with a big smile and I light step, I release myself from credit hell. For the first time in my life, I feel like I some day might be a homeowner. Or at the very least, the next time my car dies...I can probably buy new.
I am pretty darn pleased with myself today.

**UPDATED**An Almost Birthday...
Squidward took me for a really nice dinner at the local chinese place. Num Num.
MM and Prof Snape got me a really cute purse and a ZOMBIE MOVIE!!!!
Annie got me the milk frother that I wanted.
And they made my favorite...red velvet cake. OMG IT WAS SO DELISH!!!!!!
Pictures of my super cool gifts to follow. I am so spoiled. I think tonight is scrapbook lessons with MM, and tomorrow, I think Squidward will be joining Digi, The Girlfriend and I out into the world of bars. Should be interesting.
**Update. 1.55 p.m. I forgot to mention that because they know I am a little freaked about turning 25. They bought numbered candles for 21. So, Happy 21st to Me!!!

Movie Mumblings...
Sahara: No thumbs, I fell asleep
The Wedding Date: Thumbs way up for semi-nakkie boy
Just Like Heaven: Thumbs up. I'm a girl, what can I say. Love Reese.
Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of The Were-rabbit: Thumbs down. A kids movie for sure. Not great, but better then Spirit was.
My Own Royal Decree...
I hereby proclaim today to be the official start of my birthday season. The festivites will run thru Monday evening.
Double Your Pleasure....
(Use index finger to call someone over then say) I made you come with one finger, imagine what I could do with my whole hand.
If you and I were squirrels, could I bust a nut in your hole?

The Verdict...
I am going to have to think about my plan of attack, because I already owe the guy $200 for towing.
Squidward suggested we have a party. Using the beverages so wonderfully donated by the Digi family, we would charge a small surcharge for cups.
Kiki, Mrsgiggles, Meow Mixxx and I could provide the entertainment...
Who's in??? I think we can make this work!
The Dynasty Dilemma...
After an uneventful shopping trip, we were on the way home.
45 miles from home, I notice I am having trouble accelerating. To the point that I had it floored, and not a whole lot was happening. 10 seconds later, loud noise under the hood. I instantly pull over (well duh), and see smoke rolling out from under the hood. Pretty sure my transmission is shot.
Long story short. I sat on the side of the freeway for roughly 2 hours waiting for tow trucks and additional transportation. Well, after a slight misunderstanding with the tow company (and alot of obscentites from me) my car was on it's way back home. The shame of it all is that at $2/mile, having it towed home will roughly cost me $225.
It's at Dr. Jason's now. For those of you who were here back in the day, Dr. Jason is my car guy. Worked wonders on Heather the Honda. When I called him this morning to let him know what was up, he said he'd call me back once he got under it, but it didn't look good.
I don't have the best luck with cars at all. I have NEVER had a car last me more then 6 months. EVER. I am were cars go to die evidently. Would be nice thou if this one was paid off.
Still waiting to hear from the good doctor. But I am kinda freaking out. All these things are going thru my head. How can I go grocery shopping? What about the laundromat? And how about my shift in Chicken Creek on Friday....30 MILES AWAY!!!
Well, as far as Chicken Creek, let me tell you why I love Digit. When I was basically crying a river telling him my sad stroy. The man steps up to the plate and offers to drive me TO AND FROM Chicken Creek, so my office doesn't have to completely re-do the schedule. I love him. Sometimes I feel like, he is the only family member I can count on.
So that's my sad story. I am all about the drama. I make it so much worse in my head then it really is. I'll be better tomorrow.
So Juicy wants a car for her birthday instead of all that crap I asked for.
Tonight I Wanna Cry...
Really sad song.

Donate Often...
The night was pretty good on average. I mean, there were a few scary spots involving a very honest but foot-in-mouth moment from Squidward. And once people are here, they don't like to leave, except of course the ones that were invited to stay.
A few highlights include:
-My bed's max. capacity inched up to 5. We were shooting for 9.
-Some creative decorating with fake spiderweb. At one time we webbed Kiki into her apartment.
-Digi finally saw the 'Bird Dance'.
-Someone (me) may haven driven thru my own yard to use the neighbors driveway, as I didn't feel like backing out of mine.
-I was in bed with Squidward...and Digi...(it wasn't dirty I swear).
-In a single sentence, 3 people were insulted.
-We did discover...brand new blender...doesn't work. It exploded and blender bits went everywhere.
-MM learned you can drink lemonade, Passion Fruit Malibu, vodka, and melon liqouer straight from the pitcher it was mixed in. (She wins the drunk award for the week)
-The game Catch Phrase is better drunk.
-This is the description given to egg plant. It's a dairy product that's a plant. Lil Boy gets second place in the drunk awards.
-'You be quiet now' is the best phrase ever.
It was 4 when I finally got to bed. And of course, the phone rang at 6 and I had company by 7. And I was out the door before 9 for the local scrapbook convention.
All in all a good time was had by all, but I did learn that some friends just don't mix.

The Hazy Days Of Banking...
So, anyways a young woman comes in today with her little change jar. As I am sorting it over, just making sure the non-coin junk doesn't jam up the machine, I came across the following...
1. 2 screws
2. 1 Nail
3. 1 washer
4. 2 roach clips
5. 3 bar chips
6. ...wait, what?
That's right. Drug paraphernalia. I called my branch manager in the coin room and had the following conversation.
"Her Grinchiness, what do you do when you find paraphernalia in the change?"
"You mean, like Canadian coin?"
"No, like drug."
*Cue jaw dropping, a giggle or two, and a moment of pondering*
"Give it back and suggest the customer sort their change before bringing it in."
The look of horror on the young woman's face was the funniest thing I have seen all week.

More Then I Can Take In One Day...
TomKat spawn? May The Gods help us.
Lindsay Lohan crashed again! And blamed photogs again.
Country Baby Mama Drama. If can't write a song out of this, there's no hope for him.
Jessica and Nick are not splitting up. I know this was weighing on your mind. But then again, didn't Renee say she was happily married to Kenny the day before she filed papers?
Let The Rain Fall Down...
The heavens have opened and might never close again. It has been raining H.A.R.D for about an hour now.
It crackled some pretty decent lighting as well. One hit pretty close. So close in fact that one lender blames the lighting for the unexplainable amount of water on the men's room floor.
"When that lighting hit, I think the toliet exploded..." is something like what the conversation went like.
I think he has 'control' issues and this was his way of covering....
Last night in the pouring down rain, I learned that I have a leak in the roof on my porch. With the way it's raining right now, I think I might have a small pond on my porch today. I don't have a mop, so I am scared to go home and see how bad it is.

Why I Love It Here...
The high today is 78 with an over bearing humidity.
Thusrday's forcast is snow.
Potentially...
difference between potentially and realistically?"
The father thought for moment, then answered, "Go ask your mother if she would sleep with Brad Pitt for a million dollars." "Then ask your sister if she would sleep with Brad Pitt for a
million dollars, and then, ask your brother if he'd sleep with Brad Pitt for a million dollars. Come back and tell me what you learn from that."
So the boy went to his mother and asked, "Would you sleep with Brad Pitt for a million dollars?"
The mother replied, "Of course I would! We could really use that money to fix up the house and send you kids to a great University!"
The boy then went to his sister and asked, "Would you sleep with Brad Pitt for a million dollars?"
The girl replied, "Oh my God! I LOVE Brad Pitt I would sleep with him in a heartbeat, are you nuts?!?!?! "
The boy then went to his brother and asked, "Would you sleep with Brad Pitt for a million dollars?"
"Of course," the brother replied. "Do you know how much a million bucks would buy?"
The boy pondered the answers for a few days, then went back to his dad. His father asked him, "Did you find out the difference between potentially and realistically?"
The boy replied, "Yes... Potentially, you and I are sitting on Three Million Dollars..............
but Realistically,......... we're living with two sluts and a queer

A Pleasant Suprise...
If you knew my family, you'd fine that surprising.
I went for 2 walks tonight. My second was far better then the 1st, but the company made the difference.
Kiki started moving in tonight. Exciting for her.
I can't explain the feeling of dread I have tonight, so I am hoping I can sleep it off.

Burgers, Bears, and Bondage...
The evening included:
-Harmless flirting with strangers
-Grilling out in dark (haven't done that in years)
-Alcohol (god bless Boone's Farm)
-Bridal Veils (there's a very attractive picture of Digi in one)
-A bowl of 'treated' gummi bears
-Cowboy Hats (there's a very attractive picture of Digi in a pink cowboy hat)
-Alcohol (cue Hypnotic)
-Not so innocent flirting
-Riding crops, fuzzy handcuff and other assorted light bondage toys
-My bed reached it's max capacity at 4
-Beer
-Zombie movies
-Cuddling while watching zombie movies
The night ended around 2.30 this morning. 7 came really early. But I had a lot of fun. So it was worth it. But noon seems a long way off from sitting at my desk.
The rest of the weekend looks pretty busy too. After work, I am going to pick up my niece Sparky. Since this weekend, might possibly be the last nice weekend of the season, we are probably going to wander on up to MrsGiggles' parent's camper to partake in camp type things.
Sunday morning, MM and the usual cast will be present for the weekly breakfast. S and J will be coming over for movie night. We might possibly see the debut of Pookie.

There's A Chill In The Air...
Hot Carmel Apple Cider from the wonderfully over-priced coffee chain that brings us so much joy.
As the nights get cooler, the leaves begin to turn a wonderful array of reds, yellows and orange, the child can be seen bundling up a little much each week at the bus stop and pumpkins begin to appear on the steps of every house.
Fall is my favorite time. The crisp air is a refreshing feeling as you can see and feel the world getting ready for winter.
My new favorite thing in this cooler weather is the Carmel Apple Cider. To feel it warming the cool skin of my hands and feel it's warmth as I consume it. It smells of a heavenly promise of what the season can bring and as I sit here, I long for it.
But alas, my love grows in vain. The nearest Starbucks is 60 miles away. Le sigh. What ever is a girl to do?
I think head to the local over-priced coffee shop for a Chai Latte.
Must See TV...
Well, last night was the season preiemer. The world stopped for Annie and myself as we perch carefully on the edge of the couch.
I am speechless. They killed off my favorite charater. He can't be dead. I refuse to believe it. I read articles saying he might be, but come on!
I feel cheated. But who knows, he will probably show up at the end of the season again.
I still feel betrayed.

And Nagging Works...
We found out Thursday that The Grinch will not be returning until November 1. And then will only be working 4 hours a day. I blew a gasket. Godzilla (I like color coding today) told me she was hoping that I would be restored to full time as of January 1.
I just got word I will be going full time October 1.
Yay me!
Paging PETA...
Let's have a little back story. The neighbors moved out over a week ago. They left an over-flowing garbage can and recycle bin for Kiki, who moves in next week. Thinking I was doing a good thing (there I go thinking again...), I took the trash can to the curb. When I went to grab the recycling container. It was FULL of assorted chemicals.
"What do I do? I don't want to get a fine for trying to throw them out", was along the lines on my internal dialog.
Well, my feeble little mind voted it was best to dump the chemicals in the wooded area behind our parking spots.
Glug, Glug, Glug went the pain thinner. And I stopped there. Kind of shuffled it around so they didn't look like full chemical containers.
I thought nothing more of it until yesterday.
I came home on lunch yesterday to see a bunny dead in my parking spot. He was all stiff....he had been there awhile.
In all honest, I can't be sure that I killed him. But I feel terrible.
Road Trippin'...
The ride there was mostly un-news-worthy. Except for the dumb assed cell phone talking Lexus driving twat who almost ran us off the road.
The Giggles' were at the System of a Down concert, so we were left to fend for ourselves in the bustling city of Buffalo. We went to Target because you can always find something there...I got window clings and an adorable Halloween table cloth. Let the decorating begin. I also bought my first box of Christmas cards. I can't believe they were out already.
We had dinner at Applebee's and were off the Wal-Mart. The rest of the night was like any other night at home really....laundry, movies...
They got home around 12.30 and we hung out for a few minutes and all collapsed.
Saturday we were up and about bright and early. I dunno...like 9. Puddled around the house. Went out to grab some lunch at Culver's. When we got back, MrGiggles had returned from work and was trying desperately to nap. So we did the next logical thing. Climbed in bed with him. Might be the first time he ever shared his bed with 3 women. Needless to say, no napping took place. So he got out of bed and played with his brand new 9 mm gun.
After a bit we headed to IKEA. Love that store. Got the lamp I was in search of, and a bamboo plant. And spent less then $15!
Had dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory. OMG... fantastic. I can't say enough about this place. They have an awesome atmosphere. We had a blast from the time we walked in the door. The food was awesome. All of the entrees came with soup/salad, bread and ice cream. And Shockingly enough it was resonably priced.
Aside from the food, and the atmosphere and the company of course. There are two points to talk about.
There was a Gophers game, and they must have won because people were celebrating everywhere. One guy even fell drunk out of his chair!!! All of his friends just kind of laughed at him, as he quickly (well, drunk quick that is) picked himself up.
Point 2. The hair in my food. Quite near the end of the meal, I was just pushing my food around and came across a teeny tiny hair. EW. The waitress promptly got the manager, who informed me my meal was free. YAY!! Makes you wonder if that was the only hair thou. I tried not to think about it too much, because it was just fantastic!!!
The weather was some what icky on the way home. Visibility sucked. But nothing terrible. It's always sad to come home. I always miss them the second I leave. But the sooner I leave, the sooner next time rolls around.
My next venture out there will be in November with mi madre for Christmas shopping at the Mall of America. Hopefully MrsGiggles can make it out.

How Come I Didn't Know About This...
What They Said...
Urban turns country tunes into compelling mix
BY ROSS RAIHALA Pioneer Press
While he's been successfully marketed as a country act, Keith Urban proved to be anything but during his dynamic Saturday night gig in front of 13,170 screaming fans at the Xcel Energy Center.
The down-under cowboy — who was born in New Zealand and raised in Australia — offered up an evening of amiable sing-alongs that had far more to do with rock and mainstream pop than country.
To wit, Urban indulged in an extended, bluesy guitar solo during "You Won." He did the same on "Raining on Sunday," a terrific ballad that faintly echoed Duran Duran's "Ordinary World."
To open "You Look Good in My Shirt," his band tore through the riff from Aerosmith's "Walk this Way." And in the middle of "Homespun Love" — a number he introduced as his "white-trash, trailer-park love song" after being hoisted above the audience on a cable and dropped off on a small second stage — Urban launched into a snippet of Gary Glitter's "Rock and Roll Part Two" and, more surprisingly, the White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army."
Country stars flirting with rock is hardly new, but Urban does so with what feels like genuine passion. Unlike many of country's hat acts, Urban can actually play the guitar that's strapped across his chest. He's got a rich, soulful voice, too, and writes (or co-writes) much of his material.
For once, the guy's rangy good looks — think the rebellious drifter on a daytime soap opera or a hunky carpenter on a home-improvement show — are just a nice bonus, not a means to an end.
Of course, Urban's sex appeal has something to do with his current role as a Gap pitchman and his (allegedly) blossoming romance with Nicole Kidman. It also explains Urban's heavily female fan base, which was well represented at the X.
Still, Urban's a compelling presence who plays up his humble and human side, with just a hint of naughtiness. Responding to one of the many banners displayed by audience members, he called up a pair of teenage twins and gave them each what they claimed was their first kiss. At another point, he invited a young woman from the audience and cutely curled up with her on the floor as he crooned.
At the end of his set, Urban indulged in a chorus from U2's "Beautiful Day." The anthem-like song that followed, "Somebody Like You," suggested it's only a matter of time until Urban is right up alongside U2 on rock radio.

What I Say...
The show opened with Miranda Lambert. She was pretty ok. Solidly forgettable. I will look forward to seeing her when she got some more experience under her belt. She sang her 3 hits and a few extras. She did ok.
Keith. C-R-A-Z-Y H-O-T!!!! I really wanted to say B-A-N-A-N-A-S, but I didn't want to steal that joy from MrsGiggles. Now, if she doesn't use it....
I could listen to that guy guitar forever. It's like for 30 seconds he forgets anyone is there, it's just him, playing what feels right.
The dude is crazy. He pointed out signs of note. One said, "Will you strum on our G string?" How clever is that??? I am sooo going to have to remember that one.
One said..."16 year old twins, never been kissed." He changed that. Called them up to the front and kissed them. I was so jealous that all I could point out was how illegal that was.
He pulled one very excited fan on stage. I can't even begin to describe my jealousy. They laid on the stage next to each other and sang. It was really cute, althou Keith was having a hard time singing because he was laughing so much. It was really sweet.
He swung out over the crowd to a secnd smaller stage much closer to our seats. He sang 4 or 5 songs from there. The interaction this guy has with the crowd was crazy.
When he came back for an encore he sang a song completely in the dark, just him and a piano. It was so cool. Which brings me to my next point.
Doesn't anybody smoke anymore? Here he was singing in the dark and suddenly the arena was glowing with cellphone screens. I was lost in a sea of cellphone screens.
I have seen Keith 3 times now. And I can't say enough about the guy. This is the 1st time I have seen him headline a show, and it was awesome. He is as much an entertainer as he is a musician. You can tell he honestly loves making music and entertaining a crowd.
Can't wait to see him again. Pictures to follow tonight...maybe....

Are You Ready For...
I am in the Twin Cities right now. And everyone is huddled in front of the TV to take part in a favorite national Sunday past time.
Sleeping in front of the football game.
I am not really interested in either the nap or the game...and since my stirring about was disrupting Annie and the dog...here I sit...
I have a whole lot to post about this weekend....so fun....but I will save that for when I get home.
If I left now, we'd be home at 7....I bet we are home at 9.

Picture Time...
Pick-Up Line Of The Week...
"You are a finely crafted toy, may I play with you?"
Popping The Cherry...
It proved to be one hell of a good time.
Kiki and I were a little uncomfortable when we got there orginally because we were the tallest people there. It was an open aged show and there where alot of 'younger' kids there. I was actually the only person for awhile wearing the bar wristband. I was lost in a sea of blue 'Get yo ass away from the bar area' dots.
Boxkar opened up the show and my age instantly showed. I looked at Kiki and shouted, "Does it have to be so loud?" Talk about aging yourself. But in my defense, it was so loud that you couldn't hear them. We took video (teehee) and you actually heard them much better on the video off the camera. They were good, but I am sure we would have enjoyed them more if we knew who they were.
When the night started out, Kiki and I were kinda hanging out in the back. By the end of the night, we were taking out 14 year old girls to get to the front. But they pushed first, so that makes it ok. We were close enough that we got sweated on. Ok, it's gross but kinda cool on some level. I did take a shower before bed FYI.
Cherry Monroe was AWESOME!!! I was honestly surprised. The only have one single out right now 'Satellites', so we really didn't know what to expect.
I could write so much more about the night, but I am not going too. A good time was had by all. They were a little punker then we expected, to the extent that they indivually wore more make up then Kiki and I combined. But then they sweat it off, and we could see their inner hotness.
I have had the best luck with concerts in the past.
Kiki and I were able to meet the lead singer, Matt Toka. So hot! It was wierd because we just kinda walked up to him and asked for it...not really patient enough to wait for the autograph line. He was all cool about it. And a Miller Lite drinker too. Wise Man. They were hosting an after-party in the bar after the show, and because someone wasn't 21...I couldn't go. Grr.
No matter....Here are some pictures. Ok never mind....Blogger hates me. I'll post them tonight.

A Busy Blogger...
Last night there was training, tonight Kiki and I are going to see Cherry Monroe tonight in the next city over.
Tomorrow is Customer Appreciation Day *insert fan fare here* at work. (Which is code for cookie day).
Friday morning I am leaving for the the Twin Cities to visit Mr and Mrs. Giggles.
Saturday we hope to take in the outdoor sculpture garden. We have been trying to do this now for 2 years. I hope the weather permits it. (Althou, MM seems to think we should just buy some rain slickers and do it anyways.)
Time permitting we will be going to Heaven. Also known as Ikea. Why, you ask? For this.
Then it's off to the Xcel Center to see God. Assuming God has an aussie accent and looks that good in jeans.
Sunday, I have the exhausting ride home to look foreward too.
So aside from a concert review and a pick-up line, you might not hear a whole lot from me til Sunday.

Things I Did Buy...

So I have finally posted the pictures of my totally frivalous purchases...
I love Bath and Body Works. LOVE IT!! I can't really tell you which is a worse fetish, that store or purses. This purchase satisfied both cravings.
To give you an idea as to the size of this purse...
a comparison. (And If you wanna know what CD's I'm using today...I'll tell you, but you have to ask...)
Kohl's hooked me with this one...
And I did buy something I needed...shoes for work...

At Digi's request...I will not be posting the pictures of the adult 'bookstore' purchases....
Things I Should Have Bought...

A Shopper's Dream...
Ever since the announcement of the local K-Mart closing the town has been aflutter with gossip. The word going around now (which has been for sometime) is that Target has been to the Kmart building scoping it out. I can only hope.
Quite sometime ago our County Market store closed. Which is sad, it was the best grocery store in town. But like all things, they couldn't handle the competition that Wal-Mart gave. Strangely, the parking lot for this empty building has started seeing upgrades. Well, rumor has it that Best Buy has purchased the building.
There's an old fitness center out by Wal-Mart that's is rumored to be biting the dust and Kohl's will be occupying that space. So maybe Mark can come visit.
I wait on baited breath to see.
The details of last night's spending to follow later today with pictures....

A Glance Ahead...
I get out at 3.30 today. It's likely (meaning a sure thing) that the girls and I (Annie and Meow Mix) are heading for the closer semi major city. On the docket for us is likely, Target, Kohls, Bath and Body Works, Payless, Cold Stone Creamery, Applebees, Crown (it's an adult 'bookstore'), Annie has a Starbucks craving, Barnes and Noble, Wilsons Leather...
I work Saturday, so I don't know how much is going on there...
And Sunday, I will of course be heading to the Fluff and Fold...
