If someone said that because they think a person's soul, who the person is on the inside, is beautiful, that could be a really nice sentiment. However, if it was meant to say how beautiful someone is on the outside, it exposes an ugliness all to familiar with people these days. I feel sorry for that person's spouse.

DB - I am not sure how he meant it. But I doubt he knows her well enough to know that she's beautifully troubled.
