Well, Picture this. Flying down 494 yesterday and all of a sudden.
"TINK"
That's right a freaking rock. Made two nice little holes in my windshield.
Just as I was getting over this...
"SQUEAK SQUEAK SQUEAK" everytime I let my foot off the brake. It looks like I have brake problems now too.
When I asked if I could make it home like this...
"Probably." Probably???
I am so annoyed with all this.

Don't worry... It gets better.
If you recall I got a quarter-sized chip in my windshield on the way back from Texas. Getting that fixed on Monday.
As far as the brake noise, could just be brake dust.. or it could the wear indicators rubbing on the disk begging for replacement. If you're not feeling a noticable difference in brake power you're probably ok to drive home.
...and I don't think MrGiggles would have let you drive it if he was concerned my dear!
LOL, I know he wouldn't have. Because he loves me too ya know.
is your state part of the "free glass program" that insurance companies honor? thatnk goodness mine is (finally, a south carolina quirk that works to my advantage!)- i've had mine replaced twice.... and then got nailed again by a rock on vacation.
