And Then It Hit Me...

One time, not so long ago...I had a dinner party and it was fun.

One day last week, I had talks of hosting Thanksgiving dinner for my friends. One holiday, no families...just friends. I wonder if that would work.

So what do you all say?

Thanksgiving dinner at my house or dinner/wine party like last time?

It's difficult to do holiday dinners, only because so many people spend it with family. However, if you have a handful of friends who live nowhere near relatives, and who don't plan on spending T-day with anyone in particular, it could be a very good gathering.

Otherwise, I'd go for the dinner party.

Dinner with family? Too stressful. Fortunately, all my relatives live more than 4 hours away.

So T-dinner with friends is always better. More relaxed. Plus, friends always help and contribute so that I'm not overburdened with all the cooking.

Yeah. Friends is always better.
